The oasis of analogue photography lovers is in Lisbon

In Lisbon there is a store that attracts any analogue photography lover. Located at LX Factory, a space where several design, arts and advertising companies are located, as well as several stores and restaurants, it is possible to find a store dedicated to analogue photography - Dream Vintage Cameras.

In the store we can find several cameras and their various lenses, which were collected over the years. The process for creating the store was long, but it emerged as a business opportunity. “In 2011 my husband and I were married and he already had a long experience on his part with jobs and unemployment, insufficient precarious work and we had been wanting to create our own business for a long time and we thought why not really in the area of cameras. In 2012 my husband offered me an analogue camera and I got the analogue bug again”, says Diana Marques – store owner.

From 2013 the couple started selling at street fairs in Lisbon until opening the store in July 2019.

Inside the Dream Vintage Cameras appears, according to Diana, “clients from 10 to 90 years old”. From young people looking for cameras for their work, to collectors of rare pieces to adults looking to start discovering analogue photography.

With the pandemic it was necessary to take the sale of cameras to the online format, and with that a site in English was created where you can purchase the various cameras and lenses.
